This is the blog of...
This is the blog of Portland author Jessica Weiss. (This is therealjessicaweiss if there is ever any question.) You may email me at therealjessicaweiss@yahoo.com or view any number of my pages, starting with my Facebook: http://facebook.com/lucidindulgence/about on which you can find a link to my website, which has links to more links of all sorts of fun pages about this author, including twitter, flickr and tumblr. Now that Memories is finally being self-published, I feel the desire to expand my online presence. This blog will be the primary source for my newest pieces of writing I choose to share on a consecutive basis. Please check back for updates on publication dates, or to find an interesting poem or blog entry.
Available Online Summer 2013
Destined to interfere with the silent Powers at be, one girl's epic mental and physical journey is translated by poetry in Memories from Another Universe. This story comes from a different dimension, in a world of fungus-based life forms, where wanderers harvest and trade. There are no permanent homes, nor market systems, only encounters. Gabriela is determined to find her purpose among them.
As the Victor Family prepares for the world's destruction, Knowledge is camouflaged in plain sight, itching to be discovered. Wondering if she is lost, impulsively Gabriela is attracted to completing her destined journey.
The planet of fungus-fermenting creatures is so clogged with energy they're absorbed into it, doomed to the meaning of their own interpretations.
