Lady on the knoll with her trinkets

Lady on the knoll with her trinkets
She's no means of moving
But what good is transport when here lay her possessions
Paranoia protects the tangibly accumulated
Trading fewer and fewer memories
She is trapped here with them
Or lost without

She hoards her life in pieces and things

Excerpt from 'Assembly' - MFAU

All at once
Again atop the natural staircase
Clarity ensues in a perplexed way
She was of course meant to be here
There was no longer any doubt
Whether she chose this destiny or it chose her,
Here it was
And what was to happen
Elle must unquestionably act somehow
As she always Knew she should,
This reality was evidence
As bewildering as the sight affront

Excerpt from 'Mayhem'

While there is music, there is mayhem

Where rocks sit peacefully also violence survives

Only guesses tell where the start is

Bad and evil people who have become

Who've had things taken, stripped, burned, broken, buried

A life, a means, a quest for happiness: destroyed

To make way for the contagious wrath of misfortune

Wrapping, squeezing its way around air pipes

Thieves create thieves and murderers, murderers

A vicious cycle

Ever-present

Fear gained

Nothing spared

Strength of hope tested

Suspected initiation from the deepest south and west

So many rocks to throw

Or be hit by

Mayhem covers this land

From every which way
There is no end

An Excerpt from 'How Edward's Hand Felt,' MFAU

The stem emerges two inches above the world

Nowhere near any area that should allow it

Elle considers with a fingertip

Wild life growing in a desolate place

Where bloem are scarce, the only plant around

Surviving from underground

Reason of how is unattainable

Reason of good and bad, immaterial

Her eyes penetrated Edward

She plucked the stem without flinching

And he watched her toy with it pointlessly

Finally tearing it into itty-bitty pieces
